“Blessings from Bethlehem” is inviting the public to participate in the creation of:
~Neonatal/premature infant blankets, and crochet caps. We are working with Dartmouth-Hitchcock’s CHaD, and other regional facilities. These items are to be used in incubators, and the Mother’s room.
~Burial gowns for infants and toddlers. These gowns are lovingly created from repurposed wedding gowns.
~Emergency room blankets for children and young adults in hospitals and first responders units.
~Creating stuffed animals as an aid to comfort toddlers, and younger children.
~All materials and tools are provided, and there are opportunities for any skill level, i.e. cutting materials from patterns, sewing, repurposing wedding dresses, crocheting, etc. An experienced instructor will supervise each event.
Donated materials and tools are appreciated, i.e. scissors, sewing machines, crochet hooks, wedding gowns etc.
Please join us the last Thursday of each month anytime between 10:00-5:00.
There will be a free Bethlehem Community meal from 5:00-6:00 that evening.
Blessings from the women of the Bethlehem, Durrell UMC.
